A meeting on bilateral cooperation in the field of geology was held in Kabul
On October 26, 2025, Mr.Khaitboy Akhmadalievich Omonov head of “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company” met in Kabul with Mr. Mufti Izzom Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for economic affairs.
During the meeting, issues covered by the bilateral agreement signed between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Mining and Hydrocarbons of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were discussed.
During the negotiations, the issue of granting “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company” an appropriate permit to conduct geological exploration in Afghanistan was discussed.
