A technical delegation from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in a 28-day training program aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and skills in the mining sector
Uzbekistan is one of the countries with significant scientific, practical, and technological experience in geology and mining. Bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan has taken another important step in the mining sector. Specifically, in accordance with cooperation agreements signed between the Ministry of Mines Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan, Afghan specialists arrived in Uzbekistan for advanced training.
This advanced training program is organized under the auspices of the Uzbek Overseas Geology Company, and participants will undergo 28 days of training at the State Institution “Institute for Advanced Training of Mining and Geology Workers” at the University of Geological Sciences on the topic “Modern integrated methods of laboratory and analytical research in the geological exploration and mining industry”.
