On September 16-22 of this year, a ministerial delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Senior officials of “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise, “Uzbekistan Technological metals complex” JSC, and Uzbek Overseas Geology Company LLC took part in the trip meeting.

During the meeting and negotiations with the leadership of the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources were discussed joint projects, effective organization of geological exploration work, and areas of cooperation.

In addition, a relevant roadmap and memorandum were also signed with the Jordanian company “NAMC” to establish cooperation in the field of copper, rare metals, and minerals important for industry.
During the visit, a working group consisting of specialists from “JUMCO” and “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise conducted exploration of promising uranium fields.

As a result, a joint working group was formed with the participation of the ministries of the two countries and the Jordanian companies “NAMC” and “JUMCO”. Primary geological data on promising fields for uranium, critical and non-ferrous metals was also obtained and an agreement was reached to conduct an in-depth study of them.
