he General director of “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company” Kh.Omonov met with members of a technical delegation from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, who visited the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation visited our country to participate in a 24-day educational and professional development program aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and practical skills in the mining sector. This training program was organized under the auspices of “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company”, and the delegation members are undergoing training at the state institution “Institute for advanced training of mining and geology workers” on “Modern integrated methods of laboratory and analytical research in exploration and mining industry”.

During the meeting, General Director Kh.Omonov expressed interest in the quality of the educational process, the effectiveness of the training sessions, and the opinions of the delegation members. Representatives of the Afghan delegation expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for the conditions created and the high level of organization of the educational process.

The delegation members also noted their intention to transfer and share the knowledge and practical experience gained in Uzbekistan with other specialists upon their return home. It was noted that this meeting will further strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand the exchange of experience in the fields of geology and mining.
