Uzbekistan and Mongolia are taking uranium cooperation to a practical stage
Cooperation in the field of geology between Uzbekistan and Mongolia is developing steadily. As part of this strategic partnership, representatives of the Uzbek Overseas Geology Company and the Mongolian state-owned company Mon-Atom visited the Dorngov region in southern Mongolia. During the visit, the parties got acquainted with the results of geological exploration work carried out in previous years at the Narts field, which is a promising uranium deposit in the region. The geological structure of the field was also studied and the current state of infrastructure facilities necessary for the start of geological assessment work was assessed.
