According to the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in mineral exploration, extraction, processing, workforce skill development, and implementation of joint educational programs. Additionally, they discussed opportunities for scientific collaboration and attracting foreign students to study in Uzbekistan. In this regard, an important meeting took place between L.P. Sharafutdinova, Vice-Rector of the University of Geological Sciences, H. Omonov, CEO of “Uzbek Overseas Geology Company,” and Bayanjargalin Ochirhuyag, Rector of the National University of Mongolia.

The meeting involved detailed discussions on workforce training, practical and scientific experience exchange in geology. The parties explored prospects for strategic cooperation, signing a Memorandum of Understanding to organize the educational process according to international standards, establish academic exchange programs for students and faculty, and carry out joint scientific projects.

“Uzbek Overseas Geology Company” plans to provide grants for students wishing to study in Uzbekistan, with opportunities to continue their careers at the company’s Mongolian office.
